In today’s world, participation is a "must". In some cases, taking decisions without consulting the grass roots (your staff for example) is no longer credible!
Also, a small audit is never a bad investment. In confidentiality and respect for individuals, an audit sheds light on the organisation. It enables everyone to give their opinion, it is a document that gets passed around, which serves a common basis. It is a starting point for making the right choices and indispensable for setting out the options and sharing the decisions.
