The thermal
recycling of zinc at Overpelt (B) This plant,
using a traditional smelting process, plays an important
role as it recycles old zinc. But the process is
not very "sexy": smoke, dust, heat...
So
how can we present it? Infographics enable us to
communicate the background to this strategic activity
while explaining the true worth of a very complex
industrial process in a way that everyone can understand.
Zinc recycling The fact that
zinc can be recycled is an important element in
the defence of this metal against other competing
materials. Developed for the purposes of internal
communication, this illustrated flowchart has helped
the company to explain metal recycling to its partners
and the main industries that use zinc. As
each of the producer’s factories plays a part
in the process depending on their particular function,
the employees now have a complete picture of their
role in the process of production and recovery of
